It’s my birthday today. I do not often make public announcements but, I have made it this far alive! C’mon!!

A quarter of a century to be precise. I have baked a chocolate cake for my family and colleagues, I have had cake for dinner and breakfast and I have a special outfit.

I have had a morning cry. You know, I was getting a little freaked out by my age and just getting anxious about the attention. It sounds rather silly but I know some people can relate.

One of my best friends has organised a dinner party. I cannot wait. This is the first in a long time that I am actually excited about my birthday shenanigans 🙂
